ACS Logistics transport railway track to Hong Kong

The Austrian ACS Logistics group has transported a railway track from Austria to Hong Kong. The commodity measures 27 x 1,27 x 0,55 metres, and weighs 9,04 tonnes, occupying 9 pallet positions during transport.

The cargo was first transported 800 kilometres from Linz, Austria to Luxembourg Airport, by an extendable truck. with an escort vehicle. From Linz Airport, it was flown to Hong Kong by Cargolux airlines, in a Boeing 747-8.

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, the cargo was brought, once again via an extendable truck with an escort, to its final destination at a construction site in the city of Hong Kong. Despite the awkward length of the cargo, and many necessary permits, the cargo was successfully delivered, on time.
