deugro group boosts focus on mobility and infrastructure
deugro group is strengthening its focus on the mobility and infrastructure industry with the appointment of Ben Cunnington as vice president – global business development mobility and infrastructure, effective October 1.
In his role, Ben Cunnington is responsible for developing new solutions, services and products for clients from the mobility and infrastructure industry—with a focus on the direct client approach.

Solution design, risk reduction and cost optimisation have been key topics for Cunnington over the past 10 years in his previous roles as industrial project cargo manager, humanitarian relief manager & branch manager for GEFCO Forwarding and more recently within the global project & industrial solutions division of DB Schenker.
Cunnington aims to leverage his experience in project logistics and mobility and infrastructure projects globally to provide innovative solutions to the company’s clients. “The supply chain disruption issues currently being faced are a tough test, requiring flexibility, ingenuity, and supply chain resilience to manage and overcome these challenges”, Cunnington said.
His appointment follows the company’s decision to name Christian Schulz as vice president – global business development – thermal power & renewables. His focus will be the direct client approach of the thermal power and renewables industries, with the increasing and challenging demands of the thermal power logistics sector across all global business units, in both developed and emerging markets.
