Roll Group forms Saudi JV with FTE Heavylift

Netherlands-based Roll Group has formed a new joint venture with FTE Heavylift, a company that will provide heavy lift, transportation, installation and marine works in the Saudi Arabian market. Heavylift divisions of both companies will integrate and operate as a single company, Roll FTE, providing end-to-end factory to foundation solutions.

Roll FTE head office will be based in Dammam with operational yards in Jubail, Dammam, Jeddah and Rabigh. Having a wide reach across Saudi Arabia enables Roll FTE to cater for all its client’s requirements. The company will also have the relevant transport licenses to execute transportation by road.

Roll FTE’s large fleet of Conventional Hydraulic Axles, SPMT, Mobile Cranes and various installation equipment will be based in Saudi to deliver comprehensive door to door solutions.

The JV also plans on investing in marine assets which will be registered and based in Saudi to accommodate the growing number of projects in country requiring a combined marine and land transportation solution.

Roll Group adds the joint venture on top of the strategic cooperation agreement with Hebetec Engineering (HTE), a Swiss company that has global experience in the power, civil and offshore markets for tailor made lifting and skidding.
