deugro names Mario Hess global head Customer Solutions – visiotrack

Freight forwarding and project logistics solutions specialist, deugro, has made a new appointment for its in-house developed IT solution team. Mario Hess has taken over the role of global head of Customer Solutions – deugro visiotrack. 

Hess previously lead deugro’s Oil & Gas Logistics team, but over the past years, the company has seen a rising demand for deugro visiotrack, prompting the appointment.

“As one of the key contributors, I will be fully concentrating in my new role on refining and increasing the portfolio of client solutions and the functionality of deugro visiotrack as well as on building the support and sales team globally,” says Mario Hess, global head of Customer Solutions – deugro visiotrack.

deugro recently added shipments’ CO2 emissions data to its visiotrack web-based tool. deugro visiotrack users are now able to view the emissions of their shipments at any given time.

“As part of deugro’s commitment to providing innovative logistics solutions for our clients to support global CO2 reduction, and in line with our social responsibility for a net-zero future, the newest feature of the deugro visiotrack tool is another important step towards achieving environmental sustainability,” Hess said.
