Shortly after expanding its presence at one of Europe’s major project cargo and breakbulk hubs, Rotterdam, with the acquisition of Dynasty Shipping Europe, Manuport Logistics made a new step on its path of expansion. The company has opened its new office in Casablanca, Morocco. 

Since July 2023, Manuport Logistics has been operating actively in Casablanca, led by a team of seasoned professionals the company said. “We are excited to broaden our operations within Morocco’s flourishing economy and extend our reach across North Africa. Morocco plays a pivotal role in our business strategy, reaffirming our strong dedication to the African market,” says Guy Pasmans, CEO of Manuport Logistics.

Pablo Senent, the appointed Managing Director at MPL Morocco, added, “We are eager to bring our experience to this region and grow alongside MPL and our customers and partners.” The company specializes in offering comprehensive logistics solutions across diverse commodities, including liquids, chemicals, fertilizers, sugar, flooring, construction materials, industrial machinery, paper & forest products, and consumer goods.

Manuport Logistics already commands a substantial volume of twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) through its headquarters in Antwerp and its Europe offices. The addition of a local presence in key markets enhances the value proposition for customers, providing direct access to knowledgeable professionals and critical information. This strategic approach enables the optimization of supply chains and a more efficient management of customer needs.

Hanaa El Alami, Operations and Customer Service Manager, adds enthusiastically, “Africa holds a pivotal role in our business strategy, and we are thrilled to have achieved a significant milestone that empowers us to station our dedicated Manuport staff here. This strategic move equips us to streamline existing operations and harness new opportunities.”
