Hamburg-based freight forwarder H. J. Schryver is growing its presence in Latin America through the establishment of a new branch in Montevideo, Uruguay. The new office is set to open its doors in the course of the first quarter of 2024.

The opening follows the strategy to link Latin America to the world with dedicated teams and local know-how. The office will assume responsibility for the plate region and collaboration with our existing partners and customers.

The new office in Uruguay will be led by Henrik ter Huerne, who will lead the organisation in Schryver de Colombia until the end of the year. Henrik ter Huerne brings extensive knowledge and expertise in the logistics industry and will contribute to strengthening Schryver’s presence in Uruguay, further expanding the company in this dynamic market environment, including the Plate region (Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay).

“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Latin America and reaffirm our commitment to providing top-tier logistics solutions in the region,” said Henrik ter Huerne, designated Managing Director of H.J. Schryver Uruguay. “Our clients can rely on our proven expertise and outstanding service to tackle their logistical challenges.”

With the new office in Uruguay, H.J. Schryver enhances its global activities, offering tailored logistics services to businesses in the region.
