COLI Group has expanded its reach in the MPP sector through a strategic partnership between Asia Break Bulk (Singapore) and CSL Shipping (Shanghai). The teams at CSL Shipping & ABB will work closely together to market CSL’s multipurpose vessel Jian Yang Hua Qing. The ship has two 250 mt cranes for loading breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo.

Singapore-based Asia Break Bulk and China-based CSL will jointly operate the vessel, enabling both companies to gain additional market coverage in the MPP segment and expand their availability for their global clientele. Clients can contact both CSL’s Shanghai office and the Singapore and Hamburg offices of Asia Break Bulk and COLI.

Felix Peinemann, Managing Director of the COLI Group, states “This partnership will expand our footprint in the MPP market. We are steadily expanding our activities to offer clients more sailing possibilities and increase our footprint in the Chinese market. After the latest addition to our fleet, the F240 type MV ABB Victoria, this additional vessel allows us to entertain a bigger variety of cargoes and projects with up to 500 tonnes lifting capacity. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with our new partners at CSL.”

“The partnership will strengthen our global network so that we can offer better services to our customers. The commercial, operations and engineering teams of both companies will work in close cooperation to ensure the highest quality and standards for our joint clients. Indeed, we see this step as a big milestone for CSL,” Jack Lee, Managing Director at CSL Group, says.
