Jaguar opts for Pledge’s emissions measurement platform

Jaguar Freight Services (Jaguar) has integrated Pledge’s emissions measurement and reporting platform to provide its customers with accurate freight emissions data. Pledge said in its statement that its solution empowers freight forwarders and their customers to comply with Scope 3 emissions reporting regulations with its accredited multimodal emissions measurement and reporting solution.

The integration was completed using Chain.io’s Open Connect, a standardised framework enabling logistics software companies to integrate and exchange data with customers’ existing systems.

“Our platform is integral to helping Jaguar, and other like-minded companies in the logistics industry develop more sustainable supply chains, regardless of size, resources, or technological capabilities,” said David de Picciotto, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder, Pledge.

“Accessible emissions reporting tools are crucial to ensuring industry leaders can implement emissions reporting into their day-to-day operations, especially in light of mandatory reporting regulations, such as the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, which came into effect this year,” according to David de Picciotto.

Jaguar will leverage Pledge’s detailed emissions reports to arm shippers with an in-depth understanding of their emissions footprint.

Pledge’s platform provides a clear and detailed breakdown of how freight emissions are calculated at each leg of the shipment journey, allowing freight forwarders’ customers to understand and reduce their freight emissions.
