Inchcape Shipping Services has further strengthened its presence in Peru with an office in Salaverry, one of the pivotal locations in the country’s maritime industry specialising in managing bulk cargo, projects, and bulk liquids.

The latest office underscores the company’s dedication to expanding horizons and fortifying its presence in major global locations. This development signifies a significant stride for Inchcape, marking its third office in Peru alongside the offices in Callao and Pisco.

The establishment of the Salaverry office notably augments its capabilities in catering to the region, particularly the dry bulk terminals. Salaverry Port, responsible for 22 per cent of Peru’s exports, predominantly handles coal, copper concentrate, ethanol, and soon, iron ore shipments. With the imminent handling of iron ore in the port, Inchape’s new branch stands ready to represent clients engaged in coal and iron ore transportation.

Backed by a seasoned team of professionals and a knowledge of the local market dynamics, Inchcape stands poised to address the diverse requirements of its clientele in Salaverry. Leveraging a comprehensive suite of services encompassing port agency, supply chain logistics, and marine solutions, Inchcape is well-equipped to oversee maritime operations, fostering the sector’s sustained growth and progress in Peru.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our new office at Salaverry Port. Our team is highly knowledgeable in port logistics and ensures smooth coordination and handling of port calls. We prioritise safety and quality service for all our operations,” said Jorge Conde, Commercial Manager West Coast South America.
