Portuguese specialised transport company, LASO Transportes has continued its investment in equipment with the addition of five sophisticated trailers to grow their business.

To solve their missions for the transport of railway vehicles, LASO acquired two MultiMAX semi-trailers from Faymonville. The two unites have incorporated rail guides in the loading platform and six steerable cranked axles, allowing for a reduced loading height of only 740mm.

Both vehicles come with a powerful hydraulic winch and specialised accordion ramps for a smooth loading and offloading process.

Besides railway vehicles, the MultiMAX’s can be used for numerous other transport tasks, such as wind tower sections. The Portuguese company also took delivery of three quadruple extendable WingMAX flatbeds to transport the latest generations of wind blades.

With an extended length of 70 meters, pendle-axles on 19.5’’ tires and the hydraulically lifting and lowering gooseneck, their new Faymonville WingMAX’s can overcome any obstacles that cross their path.

Sliding load supports for the blade tip frame enable these semi-trailers to be extended or retracted even under load.
