Guindastes Tatuapé purchases second Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 crane
The Brazilian crane and heavy transport company Guindastes Tatuapé has purchased its second Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane from the Ehingen-based industrial machinery manufacturer.
The Sao Paulo -based utilities company, Guindastes Tatuapé purchased its first LTM 1120-4.1 in December 2021. This second crane, now delivered, will first be exhibited at the M&T EXPO trade fair in Sao Paulo, before being used for maintenance work in wind farms in Brazil.
The LTM 1120-4.1 has a max load weight of 120 tonnes, and a radius of 3 metres. It is described by Liebherr as being “the most powerful 4-axle crane on the market.” Its 66 metres boom is the longest in its crane class, with a max hoist height of 91 metres. Because this crane can handle jobs usually requiring a 5-axle crane, it increases flexibility.
