MYCRANE launches online Marketplace

Andrei Geikalo, MYCRANE founder

The Dubai-based IT service and consultancy company, MYCRANE, launched a free, online marketplace for users to buy and sell new and used lifting and rigging equipment, as well as share job vacancies in crane-related roles.

The Marketplace is supported by the new MYCRANE Inspections App, which provides reports and images of the crane listed. The app also uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to allow sellers to easily upload and modify condition reports. According to the company, this eliminates the need for expensive, specialist crane inspections.

MYCRANE founder, Andrei Geikalo, is a former commercial director at Mammoet. He comments: “MYCRANE has subject matter experts around the world that can connect customers with real buyers, and achieve the best price for their equipment. It is this on-the-ground presence that enables our marketplace to combine digital technology with personal relationships.”

The Marketplace is also linked to MYCRANE’s crane rental tool, so crane rental providers can post any of their existing registered cranes for sale in the Marketplace, without needing to re-enter the data. Lastly, MYCRANE can provide crane transportation for the buyer, insurance and leasing (finance) to fund the purchase.
