Malaysian transporter Megalift has expedited the delivery of project cargo for an oil and gas development in Pasir Gudang in Johor. The company delivered four inlet coolers weighing a total of 360 tons. 

In a brief statement through its social media channels, Megalift said it has completed the transport of four units of inlet coolers to the oil and gas project. The company deployed its multi-axle trailers from Port Klang to deliver and unload the cargo at the destination.

Megalift further noted it has transported two inlet coolers with dimensions of 15.10 x 3.55 x 5.60 m, weighing 180 tons, as well as two inlet coolers at 15.10 x 3.55 x 4.10m, also weighing 180 tons.

The area in Southern Johor is a major oil and gas industry hotspot. Malaysian energy major Petronas’ Pengeran refinery is located in the area as well as many other major players. The area has access to Johor Bahru’s international airport, Pasir Gudang Port, Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore.

Megalift, established in 1986, the transportation of heavy and over sized cargoes, lifting and installation, crane rigging, barging and chartering of ships and specialized equipment. In tandem with its main activities, Megalift also provides consultancy and technical advisory services.
