Abnormal loads specialist Collett has started the deliveries of 49-metre long blades to the Sneddon Law wind farm. The 15-turbine site, located in East Ayrshire, Scotland is comprised of Vestas V100 wind turbines, each featuring 130m tip height.

Collett deployed its specialist fleet of trailers to deliver the units to the wind farm. Nacelle and hub are delivered using heavy step frame trailers, the blades are delivered using Nooteboom super wing carriers and the tower sections are delivered using specialised tower adapters. All components are transported from Glasgow’s KGV Dock.
