MACS changes terminal in Antwerp

Multipurpose vessel operator MACS has changed its terminal in Antwerp. As from June 1st, all MACS vessel will call at Zuidnatie Breakbulk which is able to handle MACS entire cargo portfolio, the company states.

“Zuidnatie’s experienced staff is able to handle the entire portfolio of MACS cargo, may it be dry bulk, steel cargo, project cargo, heavy lift or any kind of container including reefer units or special equipment such as flat racks or over-height open top containers. There is sufficient storage space, within clean and dry warehouses as well as outside on paved ground, available for the valuable goods of the MACS clients,” the German shipping company informs its clients.

The move to Zuidnatie follows after MACS and Antwerp terminal operator Nova Natie decided to go their separate ways after a decade of “very good cooperation”. The first vessel to call at the Zuidnatie’s Breakbulk terminal is MV Golden Karoo.
