Project Cargo Summit 2022 dates are set

With the past week and Breakbulk Europe over, we turn our heads to the future and the plans that Project Cargo Journal and ProMedia have. One of such plans is the latest edition of the Project Cargo Summit to take place from September 28 until September 30, 2022.

In the premiere Breakbulk TV show aired on Thursday, May 19, we unveiled the dates for the event as well as the theme of the summit, which is “Project cargo in the Midst of the Energy Transition Push”. With the current geopolitical situation, it is noticeable that governments are pushing forwards with the energy transition agenda and we would like to see how this would affect the supply chain.

The Project Cargo Summit 2022 programme features:

  • Geopolitical challenges shaping the trends within the project cargo supply chains
  • Will energy security create additional demand for project cargo industry
  • Developments in Europe and the Americas creating demand for project cargo
  • Decarbonising project cargo transport in line with the energy transition

During the Breakbulk TV show we gave a sneak preview of the interviews we did with Jeroen de Ryck, Global Business Unit Manager / Projects & Machinery at Ahlers, Twan Romeijn, Business Manager Breakbulk & Offshore Industry at Port of Rotterdam, Hans Henrik Groen, Branch Manager, deugro Denmark A/S and Felix Schoeller, Commercial Director at AAL Shipping, among many others.

As mentioned in the video we have also done a lot of filming during the Breakbulk Europe event in Rotterdam and have also tried to keep you up to date with our live Blogs, so if you missed anything or haven’t had the chance to visit the event, go over the main talking points from Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.
