As the curtains have fallen on yet another successful Project Cargo Summit, the words of Igor Muñiz Tinoco, CEO of Erhardt Projects, remain: The Industry needs believers! This was one of the main takeaways from the latest edition of the event held at the Euskalduna Conference Center in Bilbao, Spain.

Over 150 industry professionals gathered in Bilbao to share ideas and solutions to the market’s current issues. The sessions were connected by calls for urgent cooperation, clear communication, and trust.

According to Tinoco, the industry is ready, the supply chain is adapting and it is ready to take on the challenges that may come in the future. “It will take cooperation, communication and trust,” Tinoco said.

What started with a site visit to the Haizea Wind facility at the port of Bilbao has ended on a high note. The Port of Bilbao, ProMedia and Project Cargo Journal have extended their cooperation and the next edition will again take place in the city of Bilbao in September 2025.

Keep your eyes open for more information on the event, as preparations kick off immediately.
