Trans Global Projects (TGP) is leveraging its global network and expertise to support a major mine expansion project in Western Australia’s mineral-rich Pilbara region. Working collaboratively with their Shanghai branch, TGP Perth is handling the entire ocean freight and on-site delivery of 50,000 tonnes of modular cargo.

The project involves a condensed shipping window between March and August of this year. Three partially chartered vessels are transporting the cargo from China to Perth.

“TGP’s Perth team, boasting over 15 years of experience in the Australian mining sector, is adept at managing large-scale projects,” TGP said. “Our extensive network within Australia, including operational facilities in Karratha, Brisbane, and Melbourne, allows us to provide comprehensive logistics solutions.”

An over-dimensional, prefabricated tank is only one of the unusual-looking units shipped from China to Port Hedland and onwards to the project site.

The successful execution of this complex project underlines TGP’s capabilities in handling demanding logistics for the Australian mining industry. Their global network, experienced staff, and proven track record in the sector position them as a reliable partner for companies undertaking major mining infrastructure projects.
