Bertling appoints United Logistics as agent in Qatar

Bertling has appointed the Qatari freight forwarder United Logistics as the company’s dedicated network agent in the country. The companies say they have teamed up to jointly explore “new business opportunities in Qatar and other countries.”

United Logistics is owned by Qatari Investors Group Marine Services and is headquartered in Doha. The company is experienced in offering logistics and shipping services for transports of all sizes to and from Qatar. Their client network reaches from construction/infrastructure, energy and industrial goods to FMCG and the retail industry.

United Logistics will bring its local partner and asset network, on-site logistics know-how and customs clearance solutions to this new partnership, while Bertling adds its global spread, project logistics/engineering background, IT solutions and long track-record of handling large-scale logistics projects in the oil & gas and energy sector.

The partnership will commence on April 1 this year. United Logistics and Bertling Logistics will then begin to jointly offer logistics solutions and explore new business opportunities in the growing LNG industry and other sectors in Qatar.
