Wagenborg ships project cargo to three corners of the world

Maritime logistics company Wagenborg recently completed shipments of cranes from Rotterdam to destinations in various corners of the world. The company shipped the project cargo to Georgia, Sweden and Jamaica. 

Project cargo was loaded in the Port of Rotterdam onboard Wagenborg’s vessels Hestia, Sprinter and Cito. Hestia delivered its cargo to Sweden. Sprinted delivered its project cargo to Georgia while Cito headed to Jamaica, shipping data shows.

The MV Hestia, Cito and Sprinter are three of the 170 multipurpose vessels in the Wagenborg fleet. With sizes ranging from 2.000 up to 23.000 DWT, Wagenborg manages one of the largest MPP fleets in Europe. The company notes that its fleet enables it to provide services to a number of industries, such as project cargo.

Recently, the company delivered a deck cargo of cascos loaded in China. Wagenborg’s vessel Aragonborg was chartered for the job by NEPA Shipping that was also responsible for the engineering, loading of the hulls in China, sea transport via the Northern Sea Route as well as discharging in Rotterdam for its client, Zeeland Maritime Services.
