Family-owned freight forwarder Rotra has teamed up with Container Terminal Doesburg to transport a pair of crates with gas-dehydration units from the Netherlands to Singapore.
Rotra, part of the WCA Projects freight forwarders alliance, arranged the loading of the two 57-ton crates with dimensions of 10 by 5 by 5.5 metres onto a barge. The vessel departed the barge terminal and haded to the Port of Rotterdam.
Upon arrival in Rotterdam the crates were unloaded and later loaded as breakbulk onto a container vessel that headed to Singapore. In Singapore the crates were again reloaded onto an inland waterways vessel and delivered to the consignee.
