New Finnlines service from Zeebrugge to Ireland
The Finnlines MS Finnpulp will operate two weekly round sailings between the Belgian Port of Bruges, and Rosslare Europort, a modern seaport located at Rosslare Harbour in County Wexford, near the southeasternmost point of Ireland.
The MS Finnpulp is a ro/ro vessel, built in Nanjing, China in 2002, and sailing under the flag of Finland. It has a length of 187.1 metres, a beam of 26.5 metres, and a gross tonnage of 25 732 tonnes. The ship arrived in Rosslare Harbour early this morning.
The ship is operated by Finnlines, a leading shipping operator of ro-ro and passenger services in the Baltic Sea, the North Sea and the Bay of Biscay, based in Helsinki. Finnlines is also part of the Grimaldi Group, a multinational logistics group specialising in maritime transport of cars, rolling cargo, containers and passengers, based out of Naples.
