Cargo-partner transports yacht from China to South Africa

Cargo-partner’s project cargo team transported a 14,5 metric tonne, privately-owned yacht. Cargo-partner handled the end-to-end transportation of the yacht, from Tianjin, China to the Port of Durban, South Africa.

The yacht was transported aboard a break bulk vessel, which was also transporting a shipment of trucks. Upon arrival, the yacht was transported aboard a flat trailer. The inland delivery took cargo-partners three days. Overall, the shipment was slightly delayed due to port congestion, and pandemic-related regulations, but the yacht was still loaded on time.
