Harlyn Solutions, a logistical engineering company, has completed its project cargo transport scope on the Moray West offshore wind farm project. The company played a crucial role in the transportation and installation of two Offshore Substation Platforms (OSPs).

The Moray West project, a flagship initiative in the renewable energy sector, aims to harness the power of wind to generate clean and sustainable electricity. Located off the coast of Eastern Scotland, the wind farm is set to make a substantial impact on the region’s renewable energy capacity.

Harlyn Solutions took on the challenge of transporting two Offshore Substation Platforms (OSPs), including load-in and load-out, as part of the Moray West project. The OSPs serve as critical components in the transmission of electricity generated by the wind turbines, ensuring efficient and reliable power distribution. The project has brought the two OSPs from the Tyne of Newcastle to the Port of Nigg, where Harlyn Engineers and Projects team excelled in operational management to deliver the important infrastructure most efficiently and safely possible.

Additionally, Harlyn were entrusted by Moray West to undertake the monopile cleaning scope which employs cutting-edge technology to ensure the thorough and environmentally friendly maintenance of offshore wind structures, enhancing their longevity and operational efficiency.
