A video on social media shows a multipurpose heavy-lift vessel, Eemslift Ellen, hitting a bridge during the passage of the narrow straight of Hadsund in Denmark.

In the video released by a channel named Freya Njord on May 5, the 2014-built, 4,200 dwt MPP heavy-lift vessel can be seen grazing the bridge. The video, shot from the sailing vessel, shows Eemslift Ellen passing the bridge as a loud noise can be heard as the vessel hits.

It can also be seen that the MPP vessel passed narrowly by the sailing boat, luckily avoiding a collision.

Current AIS data shows that the Eemslift Ellen is sailing in the Baltic Sea off the German coast, heading on its way to the Port of Gdynia in Poland.
