First of 12 plug-in hybrid coasters delivered to ESL’s AtoB@C Shipping

AtoB@C Shipping, an ESL Shipping company, took delivery of Electramar on December 15, the first vessel in the series of twelve plug-in hybrid coasters. These vessels are designed to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 50 per cent as compared to the present generation of vessels. They are equipped with shore power connectivity and a large battery installation, which provide superior fuel efficiency. They can also minimize noise and emissions while in port.
