Online crane rental platform Mycrane is capitalising on the rapid digital transformation of the Middle East by bolstering its regional team.

The company has appointed Syed Ahmed Salman as Vice President of Sales for the Middle East, while Syed Zulnoon Bukhari joins as Director of Business Development for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Both hires bring decades of experience to Mycrane, further establishing the company’s presence in the region.

“We made a strategic decision to invest in KSA, where the construction market was worth $148.3 billion in 2023 and is expected to record strong growth in the coming years,” said Andrei Geikalo, Founder and CEO of Mycrane. “The appointment of Salman and Bukhari allows us to go further and faster in the Kingdom, where we see major construction activity in all sectors and almost unlimited potential to grow the platform.”

Mycrane offers a quick and easy solution for users to find lifting equipment. This saves both time and money for clients. Since joining the team, Salman and Bukhari have wasted no time registering a significant number of crane rental companies and industrial clients onto the platform in recent weeks.

New customer users include Shibh Al Jazira Contracting, El-Seif Engineering & Contracting, AIC Steel, Nesma & Partners Contracting Co., and Saudi Pan Kingdom Co. (SAPAC). Crane suppliers who have recently joined Mycrane include Expertise Contracting Co., Rezayat Sparrow, Integrated Logistic Co., Al Areedh, and AHELCO.

Salman and Bukhari boast a combined 45 years of experience, with extensive expertise in the crane industry across both the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. Salman’s background in equipment sales and rentals covers both the east and west coasts of Saudi Arabia. Bukhari, a logistics and crane rental management professional, brings experience working with leading regional names such as Agility Logistics and Al-Suwaidi Equipment & Transport.
