The move is expected to present more opportunities to member companies and buyers of specialized logistics and transport services, the network organizations state. Members of the Priority Cargo Network comprise of specialized forwarders and transport and cargo handling experts.

Both organizations are part of the Quality Cargo Networks group which also owns the Worldwide Project Consortium, a global network of project cargo freight forwarders. In a recent interview with PCJ, the network company director Wolfgang Karau said that cross-collaboration among these networks is promoted.

The core activity of the networks is to promote its members to customers worldwide. “Our role is to boost awareness about our members to customers worldwide. Our backbone is formed by small and middle-sized companies which we help with their marketing. We organize meetings and events, act as a global business directory for project logistics and write and distribute press releases about their projects”, Karau said.
