Cargo-partner’s Turkish branch has handled its air-freight charter shipment with the highest tonnage since 2018, destined for the Football World Cup.

The cargo transported during this operation consisted of 177 pellets, weighing 75 tonnes, with dimensions of 450 cubic metres. Because the materials shipped for the client were destined for the 2022 Football World Cup, they were transported from Turkey to Qatar, the host country of the world cup, aboard a Turkish Cargo Boeing 777 (B-777F) freighter aircraft.

The B-777F is an all-cargo version of the twin jet commonly known as the Triple Seven, with a maximum payload of 103.7 tonnes. The B-777F is also referred to as the most efficient and environmentally friendly freighter. Cargo-partner arranged the charter shipment and cooperated with the carrier and the operator. This closely follows the announcement of a new storage facility being opened in Turkey.
