German heavy lift and logistics expert Combi Lift has expanded its portfolio with the creation of Forwarding Solutions Division that kicked off operations on October 1. The unit will be led by the general manager Matthias Gross. 

The unit will consist of three specialists in the non-containerised cargo (NCC) segment. These include pieces and goods that can be transported both with and without the use of special equipment.

“Our logistics offering primarily targets international customers in the machine building industry and plant construction sector, but we basically transport everything that fits or does not fit into a standard container – by ship, road or rail”, Matthias Gross explained.

Commenting on the creation of a new unit, Holger Hinrichs, managing director of Combi Lift, said, “The new department adds another pillar to our business model: In addition to the established project and salvage business, Combi Lift now also offers comprehensive forwarding and supply chain solutions.”
