JAS Worldwide has completed the acquisition of Greencarrier Group’s freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain management division.

With its fourth acquisition of 2021, JAS Worldwide further reinforces its freight forwarding activities, expands its geographic footprint into the Nordics, Baltics, and Eastern Europe, and broadens its service offering to include inland road transportation in Europe.

Headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, Greencarrier Freight Services International operates through offices in 11 countries with 800 employees. The company uses all modes of transport including ocean, air, road, and rail.

The completion of this acquisition closes the phase that has seen the company make four acquisitions in one year, each in a different region and each designed to enhance JAS’ presence and ability to serve its clients. Previous acquisition have seen the Atlanta-headquartered freight forwarder strengthen its position in the UK and China.

Marco Rebuffi, CEO of JAS Worldwide said, “We have worked closely with Greencarrier as an agent of JAS and now welcome these talented colleagues to join the JAS family. We look forward to realizing the new opportunities which have been created by the combined resources of our larger organization.”
