Bergen-headquartered breakbulk shipping major, G2 Ocean has decided to move its regular inbound and outbound North America services from Port of Bremen to Port of Brake. Under the agreement with Port of Brake, G2 Ocean aims to further strengthen its services and accommodate future growth plans.

The relocation from the Port of Bremen to Port of Brake, Germany will be completed before July 1, 2022. “We are very excited to enter into this partnership with Port of Brake,” says Richard Eacott, operations director at G2 Ocean.

“At G2 Ocean, we are committed to providing our customers with the safest, most reliable, effective, and sustainable shipping services. With our new partnership, we will combine our logistics expertise and be in the best position to serve our customers as we continue to grow our business,” he adds.

G2 Ocean will be fully operational during the relocation process and do not expect customers to experience any disruption or delays in services because of this change.

G2 Ocean has had a long-term collaboration with the Port of Bremen, and the decision to relocate the business was not taken lightly.

“Port of Bremen has been a valued partner of G2 Ocean, and we extend our sincere appreciation to them for their support and cooperation over the years,” says Kent-Ove Jacobsen, senior chartering manager of the Europe to East Coast North America trade.
