During the new year period, a number of companies have made appointments, with F.H. Bertling Logistics, RMS Projects, Rhenus Logistics and C. Steinweg Group being among the highlighted names. 

Promotion at F.H. Bertling Logistics

Global logistics and shipping company, recognised for handling complex project freight forwarding, F.H. Bertling Logistics, has dipped into its own ranks to find a new Branch Manager for the Hamburg office. The company promoted Thorsten Wiechers, effective January 1.

He will continue to manage the company’s key account activities for various clients, just as he has been doing since he joined in October 2021. Thorsten will be working closely with Janina Reinig in the areas of F.H. Bertling Logistics’ strategic approach towards business segments, clients and projects, process improvements, and efficiencies.

New names at RMS Projects, Rhenus Logistics and C. Steinweg Group

RMS Projects have named Mathias Lueg as their new member, joining the chartering team. Lueg will also support the tonnage desk as well as the CCD (Central Chartering Desk), working out of the Duisburg office.

At Rhenus Logistics, Dominique De Smet, has been named managing director Singapore, while Michiel Hoefnagels has switched over from Euro-Rijn Group to C. Steinweg Group. At Steinweg, Hoefnagels has been named deputy division manager base metals.
