GTS, a logistics service provider that specializes in supply chain solutions for the maritime industry under the Marinetrans brand, has acquired SSL, formerly a part of Burando Maritime Services. Bringing the marine logistics specialist under its roof, GTS plans to strenthen its mrket position in the Netherlands. 

SSL is a marine logistics specialist that offers barge deliveries, warehouse consolidation, and freight forwarding services. According to the two companies, the merger aims to improve the marine spare parts logistics services as it will create a synergy that leverages the combined strengths, culture, and international network of both organizations.
