Young companies have their place in the market, especially if they can provide direct, efficient and quality service. However, having the right partners can also have a significant impact on the business. ‘The right connection’ is an accurate description of the cooperation between the Turkish MPP and breakbulk vessel owner Elkenz Maritime Logistics and One World Shipbrokers.

Based in Istanbul, Elkenz, a young tramp shipping company operates a fully owned fleet of eleven multipurpose/breakbulk vessels with lift capacity of up to 140 tons and box-shaped holds. The company has been growing its fleet and its European presence steadily in recent years.

With its focus on shipping more breakbulk cargo throughout the region, the company turned to One World Shipbrokers, appointing the Hamburg-based shipbroker as its exclusive commercial agent for the North European region. This will include Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Poland commercial markets.

Elkenz is calling at ports throughout the Middle East, Mediterranean, North Continent, Baltic, Black Sea, and Africa, offering flexible breakbulk service.
