Freight forwarder Unsworth names Thomas Kuehn as new MD
London-based independent freight forwarder Unsworth has appointed Thomas Kuehn as the managing director of its UK business. The current director, Richard Hogg will become the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Unsworth group with Charles Hogg leading the company’s client solutions team as commercial director.
Kuehn joins the freight forwarder from World Transport Agency (WTA), where he had been MD for almost a decade, in a year that will see Unsworth celebrate the golden jubilee of its formation in 1974. He brings a strong track record in developing independent freight forwarding businesses, he also spent ten years at JE Bernard as global key account director and was a director at Kuehne+Nagel.
