The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has appointed three industry veterans – Denise Hill, Ian Mallon, and Chris Packwood – to its Board of Directors. This strategic move strengthens BIFA’s leadership with a wealth of expertise and fresh perspectives, bolstering the association’s advocacy and support for its members.

Commenting on the appointments, Steve Parker, Chairman of BIFA, said, “Their extensive experience and leadership in the freight forwarding industry will be instrumental in guiding BIFA’s strategic direction and supporting our mission to represent and promote the interests of UK freight forwarders.”

He further added that the appointments come at a pivotal time as the association and the industry as a whole continue to navigate the challenges and opportunities in the global trade landscape.

Denise Hill joined the association’s secretariat as Member Engagement Director in April 2023. Her proven track record in commercial and relationship management translates directly into strong governance on the BIFA Board.
