PRESS RELEASE – Blue Water Shipping is opening a new office in Trinidad and Tobago to further service the growing oil and energy sector in the Caribbean and the north-eastern region of South America.

“We see a growing demand for our services in this region, and it is a natural step for us to open an office in Trinidad & Tobago. We will focus on complete project management of transport and logistics”, states Brent Patterson, Blue Water’s Regional Director for Energy & Projects Americas.

Last month Blue Water announced the opening of another office in the region in Guyana. Blue Water has thereby put extra efforts into gaining a solid position in this emerging market.

From the offices in Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago, Blue Water’s staff will focus on maintaining and increasing the current client base. This will be done in close collaboration with other Blue Water offices specialised in project transport.

Blue Water will work together with Peterson in the region, which also provides integrated project logistics from offices in Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Surinam and employs over 150 local staff.
