Blue Water scores AGOGO FPSO logistics job

The transport and logistics group, Blue Water Shipping, has secured a sizeable logistics contract with Yinson Production (YP) for the AGOGO floating storage, production and offloading (FPSO) vessel. The company’s Floating Production Systems (FPS) team will oversee the transportation of the Agogo topside modules for for the FPSO.

Jason Goh, Blue Water’s Regional Director Asia, said, “This collaboration is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at Blue Water. We are eager to contribute our expertise and deliver outstanding logistics solutions.”

The contract involves the transportation of a total of 15 modules, with the heaviest weighing 3211 metric tonnes. The first transportation is scheduled for May 2024 and will involve both domestic transportation within China and international transportation from Indonesia and Vietnam to China.

Blue Water has a specialist team that is experienced in supervising all aspects of FPS logistics operations. This team is supported by a diverse in-house team of experienced professionals, which includes naval architects, engineers, port captains, FPS specialists, and legal advisors. The team provides comprehensive support for global project execution and has a global presence in various regions around the world.
