BBC Chartering is set to put its new addition to fleet through her paces as first cargo awaits. Following the completion of sea trials earlier in the autumn BBC Kherson, an F500-type MPP/Heavy-Lift vessel, has joined the BBC Chartering fleet. 

“The first voyage of this latest addition to our fleet is planned to take her from Shanghai via Singapore and the Cape of Good Hope to Rio de Janeiro, where it’s currently summer, with nice weather and warm temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius,” BBC Chartering noted in a brief statement.

BBC Kherson continues the line of names the company uses for its F500-series, namely carrying a name of a city/country where BBC Chartering’s seafarers come from and where Briese Schiffahrts has crewing offices.

The new addition follows BBC Sebastopol, a multipurpose F500-type vessel, built at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in Taizhou, China, and delivered at the end of September.
