Following the Dutch measures to slow down the spread of the coronavirus, Jumbo Shipping has reported its ships have received the necessary instructions and, for now, continue their schedule. The company’s offices have been closed until further notice.

With the offices closed, Jumbo’s office staff has been working from home since last Thursday. ‘Of course, our work is impacted somewhat, but for the time being a lot of work will continue at home and online,’ says Jan Hein Reeringh, Communication Manager at Jumbo.

‘We do everything within our possibilities to ensure continuity of operations and services in full compliance with guidance provided by the World Health Organization and governmental authorities. As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, we will update and revise our guidelines when necessary,’ the company issued in a statement.
