CEO Craig Jasienski leaves Wallenius Wilhelmsen

PRESS RELEASE – The Board of Wallenius Wilhelmsen have in dialogue with CEO Craig Jasienski agreed to end his employment with the company effective 8 March 2021.

The company did not share details about the reason behind the decision but does extend its gratitude to Jasienski for his efforts in various positions in the group over more than 30 years.

The board will initiate a process to find a permanent CEO. The current CFO, Torbjørn Wist, will assume the role of acting CEO.

Wist joined Wallenius Wilhelmsen as EVP & CFO on 1 October 2020. He has previously served as EVP & CFO in Scandinavian Airlines System and has held several managerial positions within both the telecommunications and financial services industries internationally. He holds a business degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.
