The Shepherd Offshore Technology Park, and Neptune Energy Site (NEP) in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, received two shipments of equipment, weighing a total of 810 metric tonnes this week.

Shepherd Offshore Technology Park first welcomed the Rolldock Star, a heavy load carrier sailing under the Dutch flag. The vessel measures 151.49 metres in length and 25.46 metres in width. It has a gross tonnage of 15382 metric tonnes. Three reels weighing a total of 210 tonnes were discharged from the Rolldock Star by a CC4800 crawler crane.

The heavy load carrier Aura sails under the Finnish flag. The vessel measures 101.8 metres in length and 18.8 metres in width. It has a gross tonnage of 3259 metric tonnes. Thirteen reels weighing 600 tonnes in total, were discharged from the Aura by a 325T HammerHead Crane.
