Wallem appoints Alastair Marsh to Board of Directors

Alastair Marsh has been appointed to the Wallem Group board of directors. He has over 15 years of experience in the maritime sector, and 30 years of experience in senior management positions.

His most recent position was that of CEO at Lloyd’s Register. There, he played a central role in the development and execution of the corporate strategy. In particular, this strategy focused on growth, digital transformation and customer interaction. Alastair Marsh graduated from The University of Edinburgh’s Wharton Business School with a degree in Business Studies & Accounting. He is also a qualified chartered accountant.

Nigel Hill, Chairman of Wallem Group, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Alastair to the Board of Directors at Wallem. Over the years he has earned the respect of those within the industry and his experience and track record of delivering success will be invaluable in helping Wallem move forward”.
