Varamar delivers project cargo to Poland
Shipping company Varamar has recently delivered project cargo from the United Arab Emirates to Poland for the Polimery Police project.
The company noted in a brief statement on social media that is delivered the iron bridge section, fabricated structural steel and grating for the Polish project. Varamar developed loading and stowage plans to put all the 982 tons and 3,703 cbm of project cargo in order and safely deliver it to the consignee.
The project is aimed to realize the first petrochemical complex producing polypropylene in Poland and will consist in total in five sub-projects.
Grupa Azoty together with Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne „Police” (GAP) is developing the Polimery Police project consisting of PDH (propylene dehydrogenation) plant, PP (polypropylene) plant, PP logistics infrastructure, auxiliary units and inter-connections as well as a handling and storage terminal. It is considered the largest investment of the Polish chemical industry.
