BBC Onyx loads CTVs in Esbjerg for delivery to Taiwan
In the early hours of Saturday, February 4, 2022, BBC Chartering’s general cargo/heavy lift vessel, BBC Onyx, loaded a couple of crew transfer vessels (CTVs) at the port of Esbjerg and headed off to Taiwan.
BBC Chartering noted that the two vessels are transported for World Marine Offshore, a Danish shipping company established in 2012 in the port of Esbjerg. The loading of the 90-ton vessels required precision and caution BBC Chartering informed. The vessel’s AIS data show the vessel is currently moored at the port of Antwerp in Belgium.
The two vessels, World Mistral and World Scirocco, are heading to the port of Koahsiung in Taiwan where they are given a new lease on life. In Taiwan, the two vessels will join World Golf and World Passat, which sailed out in 2019 and have been renamed as World Sail and World Sea, respectively.
The four vessels were the first to be delivered to World Marine Offshore from the Fjellstrand shipyard in Omastrand, Norway.
