DAKO delivers mill shell to The Gambia
DAKO Worldwide Transport has partnered with LTW Africa Logistics to deliver a colossal 150-tonne mill shell and 500 freight units of accompanying equipment for a cement plant expansion project in Banjul, The Gambia.
The complex operation began at the factory of a long-standing DAKO client in Enns, Austria. Leveraging their expertise in global project logistics, DAKO meticulously oversaw the transport of the cargo to the Port of Antwerp, ensuring a smooth transition to the maritime leg of the journey.

Upon arrival at the Port of Banjul, DAKO’s team, known for their ability to handle challenging environments, was prepared. Heavy-duty Goldhofer modules stood ready to receive the cargo directly from the MPP vessel. With precision, the massive mill shell and its accompanying accessories were transported to the project site.
