DFDS, a leading global provider of transportation and logistics services, has launched a new Alsancak-Sète RoRo line, connecting the Izmir Alsancak port in Turkey to the France Sète port.

Starting from April 2, 2023, this new line is providing a fast, reliable, and sustainable transportation network for businesses looking to expand their reach in the international market, DFDS said in its statement. With the Alsancak-Sète RoRo line, DFDS is opening a new transportation corridor from the Aegean Region to several destinations in Europe, including France, Spain, England, Portugal, and North Africa.

The intermodal connections provided at the Sète port, which is strategically located, will allow customers to reach Paris in six days and London in seven days from Alsancak. DFDS aims to expand the existing line and provide a continuous service to its customers by adding a second voyage to the Alsancak-Sète line, which will run once a week in the first stage.

The launch of the Alsancak-Sète Ro-Ro line is a significant milestone for DFDS and the international transportation and logistics sector of Turkey. By expanding its reach, DFDS is enabling businesses to tap into new markets and reach their customers more efficiently.
