Blue Water steps into South Korea with Zodiac Solutions acquisition
Logistics services specialist, Blue Water Shipping, has established its presence in South Korea by acquiring Zodiac Solutions. The official acquisition took place at the Korea – Denmark Offshore Wind Business Conference.
Zodiac Solutions, a South Korean logistics company, is headed by Raphael Park, who will move from his role as managing director of Zodiac Solutions to general manager of Blue Water South Korea. The completion of the acquisition is expected to be finalised on May 1.
With a team of experienced and dedicated local logistics experts, Blue Water South Korea aims to offer a wide range of global logistics services with a strong focus on the renewable energy sector.

Thomas Bek, Blue Water’s COO for Energy, Ports & Projects, expressed his enthusiasm for this strategic move. “We are delighted to announce this important step in our expansion plans. The acquisition of Zodiac Solutions brings expertise and a valuable network, particularly in the logistics of diverse industries such as Renewables, Mining, Oil, Gas & Industrial projects, General Cargo Sea & Air, Marine logistics and Defense logistics. In addition, Blue Water is set to further expand its presence in Asia with the opening of an office in Japan later this year. This expansion aims to strengthen Blue Water’s foothold in Asia and contribute to its global presence.
