HEBO opens new office in port of Amsterdam

PRESS RELEASE – Effective May 2020, HEBO Maritiemservice has expanded into the port of Amsterdam by opening a permanent office. The company offers lifting capacity of up to 800 tonnes for project cargo, breakbulk and superyachts.

HEBO’s floating cranes are frequently active in the port but a permanent location was still missing. In collaboration with TMA Logistics and the Port of Amsterdam, the company has now found such a location for one of its bucks.

Next to lifting services, the company will also provide disaster response from the Coenhaven. HEBO will assist with the collection of released waste materials from like oil, chemical products and plastic waste.

The heavy-lift company has been active in Rotterdam and Zwartsluis for many years. With its floating cranes, pontoons and disaster response vessels and vehicles, the company carries out activities such as project and break bulk loading, disaster relief, salvage operations, infrastructure, ship-to-ship operations and transports of superyachts, among others.

Earlier this year, the company was involved in the salvage of the two Liebherr mobile harbour cranes that fell from the heavy-lift vessel Jumbo Vision in the port of Rostock.
